| | Maria Eva Russo Maria Eva Russo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She started at the age of 16 as an apprentice to a professional painter and later on studied cinema at B.A. University.
Maria Eva started her professional carrier as a Set Designer and soon after became a Costume Designer, some of her work includes designing sets for Warner Music and Patagonik Films, assisting the Visual Effects on the New Millennium International event at Sacsayhuaman ruins in Cuzco, Peru, Directing the Art Department of a Tango show in Mexico City, and managing the construction team of puppets and mascots at Parque de la Costa, the largest theme park in South America.
Maria Eva has been living and working as a Costume and Fashion Designer in Brighton U.K since 2002 and her work has been seen in many theatre productions such as Fifth Planet, Witches of Eastwick, Tommy, Oliver and My Fair Lady as well as in "Pink Paradiso" cabaret show on the last two Brighton Fringe Festivals, she was also the creator of the hare and tortoise running along Simon Pegg and Hank Azaria in "Run Fat Boy, run". Recently Maria Eva collaborated with award winning designers of bespoke vintage lingerie "Ophelia Fancy" and sharing her knowledge of Puppet Design and Contruction for London University Summer Schemes at Central School of Speech and Drama.
In 2009 Maria Eva joined the Wardrobe Team of Qdos Entertainment working as a Wardrobe Supervisor for Celebrity Cruises alongside the casts of The Millennium and The Infinity vessels. | |
